Gisela is a researcher at Instituto de Diversidad y Ecología Animal (IDEA-CONICET) in Córdoba University, Argentina. She explores geospatial and temporal patterns of stressors associated with anthropogenic climate change in the Antarctic Peninsula and the Argentinean Sea

CoCo SciComm Team interviewed Gisela, one of our SciComm Consultants, to get insight into her motivation and purpose for teaching at CoCo. 

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with the team?

A: I like the program's inclusive and equitable spirit, as well as the clear intention to reach those who have not been able to access this type of training.

Q: What made you decide to be involved in a program like CoCo?

A: I lhad a great time being a part of the program's first cohort. Also, I love having the opportunity to be a part of an inclusive project that is uncommon in other scientific programs and courses.

Q: What kind of activities do you enjoy doing outside work? 

A: I enjoy doing aerial silks and making my own clothes by sewing
