Meet the CoCo Team 

Andrea Savedra, CoCo Program Assistant Evaluator 

Andrea Savedra, she/her

Program Evaluator Assistant

Andrea Savedra is a Ph.D. student at xx in xx. She explores how to diversify the Geoscience field through mentoring and internship opportunities. 

CoCo SciComm Team interviewed Andrea, our Program Assistant Evaluator, to get insight into her motivation and purpose for working at CoCo. 

Q: What do you enjoy most about working with the team?

A: Working with other Latinx scientists! As well as terrific scientists like Nicole, Julie, and Mark.  

Q: What made you decide to be involved in a program like CoCo?

A: It aligns with my research interest which is extending opportunities to Latinx geoscientists. 

Q: What kind of activities do you enjoy doing outside work? 

A: Traveling, hiking, cycling, going on walks with my dog.
